East Lawn Palms Cemetery

East Lawn Palms Cemetery has been serving the needs of southern Arizona residents in and around Tucson and Pima County since the 1940s. The small desert cemetery provides full services to a wide range of religious faiths as well as cultures in this diverse area of the southwest, and offers grieving loved ones and friends one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Sonoran desert as a final resting place.

East Lawn Palms Cemetery literally offers an oasis in the midst of the browns, grays and sandy colors of the Arizona desert, with a gorgeous backdrop of desert mountains in the distance. At sunrise and sunset, the grounds of East Lawn are bathed in glorious reds, yellows and purples of a desert morning or evening, offering comfort and beauty that takes the breath away. Heavily clustered with palms, which give it it's name, the grounds of East Lawn Palms Cemetery offer a green respite from her desert surroundings. Well-kept, watered and maintained lawns, shrub arrangements and pathways grace the nearly 60-acre expanse of this quiet and popular cemetery located just northeast of downtown Tucson.

The cemetery grounds offer a beautiful mausoleum that provides a solid and welcoming atmosphere for loved ones, as do the various bench estates that provide visitors and loved ones the opportunity for privacy as they grieve and memorialize their loved ones. Both palms and native desert flora and fauna, which staff and groundskeepers are proud of, surround the grounds.

Located just northeast of downtown Tucson, East Lawn Palms Cemetery may be accessed by Interstate 10, which runs north and south through Tucson. Access E. Grant Road from the East Broadway off ramp onto South Kino Parkway, turning north at any of several north/south bound cross streets that will take you to E. Grant Road. The cemetery grounds are located a short distance north from the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.
