Because Franklin Memorial Park is designed to look more like a park than a cemetery, visitors won't find upright headstones or tombstones throughout the property. Bronze memorials on concrete or granite bases are placed at the foot of each grave, which also helps to facilitate grounds-keeping and foot traffic through the property. Families have a variety of burial options at Franklin Memorial Park, including side-by-side plots, single plots with extra depth, or plots for cremated remains.

Staff of the facility have offered cremation services for over three decades with a variety of choices for interment, including gallery and pedestal niches, niches with glass or marble fronts, and exterior granite fronts, which are currently under construction.

Located in Middlesex County, Franklin Memorial Park is located just southeast of New Brunswick, with easy access to the area the Interstates 287 and 95. Visitors can take Somerset Street or Lincoln Highway to reach the property, located in a quiet, peaceful and tranquil suburban area just east of Six Mile Run Reservoir Site.
