Greenlawn is the final resting place of several notable Florida residents, including Robert Femoyer, a US Army Air Corps pilot killed in 1944 and awarded the Medal of Honor. His final resting place is located in Lot 2, Section 8, and many civilians as well as veterans visit the location to pay their respects to him and all other veterans buried at Greenlawn for their sacrifices to our country. The grounds are also the final resting place of Jacksonville politicians, government officials and city founders.
