Lincoln Memorial Park is a beautiful, serene location situated just south of Lincoln, Nebraska. For generations, the park and funeral home has served the multicultural and multi-denominational needs of the community. As a full-service cemetery and funeral provider, staff is also proud to offer bilingual staff members to meet the needs of their growing Hispanic community. The cemetery location provides wide, open grassy lawns, trees, and stone and brick structures, all glowing under the endless blue skies of the Nebraska plains. The funeral home, built in the mid-1970s, is located next to the Lincoln Memorial Park grounds. A chapel provides a quiet and peaceful location for large or small gatherings, and visitation rooms provided comforting, home-like ambience that offers a sense of comfort to grieving family members and loved ones. Throughout the large acres of the cemetery property, established in the late 1920s, are gently rolling hills, beautiful landscaping, statues, pillars, and landmarks. Over 25 gardens offer incredible views over the 150 acres of the property. Roads and pathways offer easy access by foot and car, and the Avenue of Flags offers an incredible sense of beauty and patriotism on Memorial Day and Veterans Day for those driving onto the property. Altogether, nearly four miles of service roads provide access to all parts of the cemetery property. Families can choose traditional ground burials, lawn crypts, cremation options and mausoleums. Staff at Lincoln Memorial Park is happy to encourage and aid families in coming up with unique, memorable, and dignified services and burial options for their loved ones. Five garden mausoleums as well as the chapel mausoleum offer permanent entombment for those who opt for aboveground burial.
