Covering dozens of acres, Oakview Cemetery is located north of downtown Detroit, nestled between the quiet bedroom communities of Royal Oak, Clawson, and Berkeley. The cemetery property is accessible from downtown Detroit on Interstate 75 (north/south) as well as Interstate 696, running due east and west. Visitors arriving from Interstate 696 may take South Main Street due north to Gardenia Avenue, while visitors traveling north or south on Interstate 75 may take the westbound exit of Gardenia Avenue to North Main Street.
