Resthaven Memorial Park is a member of the Dignity Memorial network of cemetery and funeral service providers, one of the largest in the United States. The property is one of the most beautiful in the area, offering a mild blending of traditional Texas landscape utilizing rocks, desert plants and water features with enough shade trees, shelters, and shaded pathways to protect visitors. A variety of ponds, rock waterfalls and other features including statues, landmarks and memorials scattered throughout the property offer visual interest and beauty. Resthaven Memorial Park is also the final resting place of many Lubbock County founders, politicians, and sports figures including professional baseball and football players like Sam West and Wally Klein. Located due west of downtown Lubbock, visitors to the area may visit the cemetery property by taking Highway 62 or Route 114 due west, with the northbound turnoff on Frankford Avenue. The property will be on the right or east side of Frankford Ave. Visitors may also take the north or southbound 289 highway loop west of Lubbock with an eastbound exit off of 19th Street, followed by the northbound turnoff on Frankford Avenue. |
