Restlawn Memorial Park is tucked away in the northwest corner of the great state of Texas, under blue skies and dry, warm desert air. The grounds, sheltered by cedar, pine and juniper, as well as other native trees and shrubbery, remind visitors of horses and buggies, and friendly, caring neighbors. Since 1927, Restlawn Memorial Park staff has been meeting the needs of grieving friends and loved ones, offering services that range from cemetery plots to cremation facilities and memorials. With staff fluent in both Spanish and English, Restlawn is able to meet the multi-denominational needs of this part of Texas in El Paso County, a short distance from the Mexico border to the west and New Mexico to the north. Over seventy acres of land offers visitors and loved ones the sights and smells of native Texas brush and flowers, and the comforting scent of juniper and cedar trees floats in the air. Mountains in the distance offer spectacular views to visitors, and the shade provided by the multitude of trees planted at strategic locations throughout the property offer shade and comfort. Restlawn Memorial Park offers a raised lawn crypt section and a Spanish-style chapel mausoleum. Lawns and grounds are well cared for and stay green year round, providing visitors with a respite against the hot, dry sands of the Texas desert. Divided into sections, lots and blocks, Restlawn Memorial Park will continue to serve the needs of El Paso residents for many years, offering a caring legacy that began nearly 100 years ago.
