Set in the beautiful city of Tucson, South Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery has been serving the community for over 50 years. Just recently the name was changed to Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, to accommodate the predominant Hispanic community in the city. This final resting place is in a beautiful location, where loved ones can reminisce about times past and enjoy the peaceful desert air and surroundings. Not only does South Lawn Mortuary and Cemetery offer sanctuary for its Hispanic community and loved ones who have passed on, but they use their understanding of cultural traditions to make all families feel welcome and respected. A large, predominately Catholic portion of the cemetery features a granite statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe for all to enjoy. For the past five decades, staff at South Lawn Mortuary and Cemetery has prided themselves on exceptional service and respect when families need it the most. The cemetery is located on 85 acres of beautiful and well-manicured land, complete with trees, in ground and above ground memorials and a Veterans Memorial for those who were in the service. The cemetery caters to all religions and cultures, and aside from the compassionate service offered during times of loss, families are comforted with the assistance of the staff, which offers both Spanish and English for visitors in their time of need, preparing families for services, answering questions and providing a wealth of services. Located just south of downtown Tucson, South Lawn Mortuary and Cemetery (Funeraria del Angel) is located off of major Interstate 10 and 19, with turnoffs on West Irvington or Valencia roads, with a turn onto South Park. Just moments north from the Tucson International Airport, South Lawn Mortuary and Cemetery will continue to serve Tucson residents for years to come. |
