Vestal Hills Memorial Park has long served residents of Binghamton and surrounding communities since the early 1930s. The hundred acre multi-denominational memorial park is beautifully landscaped and contains rolling hills, flat spaces and multiple sections that are beautifully tended and cared for. The cemetery property evokes a sense of security, serenity and comfort. Vestal Hills offers traditional in-ground burial and lawn crypts as well as aboveground burial in any of its six beautiful mausoleums. A variety of features scattered throughout the property offer visitors beautiful scenery, comfort, and a sense of stability and dignity that has well served grieving family members and loved ones for nearly a century. Ponds, statues, memorial benches and a plethora of beautiful pine and deciduous trees and floral landscaping arrangements offer bright splashes of color amid acres of sprawling green lawns. A variety of garden areas as well as landmarks such as the Tower of Memories and the Liberty Terrace offer visitors beautiful scenery. The Vestal Hills Memorial Park also offers a variety of gardens including the Garden of Devotion and the Garden of Love. The Field of Honor pays respects to veterans and a gazebo on the property offers a quiet and secluded space for meditation and memorialization of loved ones. A Masonic section is also available on the property. Vestal Hills Memorial Park, located in Broome County, is located east of Binghamton along Interstate 86. Visitors can access the cemetery by taking Vestal Parkway East off of the interstate, also known as County Road 434. A transition at Highway 201 will take visitors to Old Vestal Road, also known as County Road 44. The cemetery property is located on the north side of the road. |
