Volusia Memorial Park was officially established in the mid 1990s, though gravesites on the grounds date back to the mid 1960s, a testament to the services and wonderful location provided by the Volusia Memorial Park grounds and Funeral Home. Staff here have and will continue to serve residents of North Daytona Beach community. Well groomed lawns are the focal point of this lovely cemetery, as are curving pathways that lead visitors to shaded clusters of ancient trees basking in the balmy weather provided by breezes coming in from the Atlantic, just a short distance to the east. Above ground and in-ground memorials, headstones and monuments grace the landscape, which is tended with obvious pride and dedication by employees. For decades, staff at Volusia Memorial Park have offered Volusia County residents multi-denominational choices and options when it comes to burial services, traditions and customs, and treat visitors as well as grieving loved ones with kindness, compassion and concern. Though a relatively small cemetery, Volusia Memorial Park and its staff is ready, willing and able to address the needs of today's community residents, and offers one of the nicest areas as a final resting place along the Florida coastline. Nestled in between several golf club parks, city parks and recreation complexes, Volusia Memorial Park is conveniently located just east of Ormond Beach and the Ormond Beach Municipal airport and the Civic Sports Complex. Located just east of Interstate 95, Volusia Memorial Park may be accessed from W. Granada Boulevard to the south or State Highway 1 to the north, with a turnoff on N. Nova Road. Visiting the grounds of Volusia Memorial Park offers loved ones as well as visitors an overwhelming sense of comfort and security despite its central location to the Atlantic ocean on one side and downtown Ormond Beach on the other. |
